Summary
Yuliana Pembrose, Blackstaff Academy's premier divination professor, has had been academic rivals with Gale Dekarios since they were in school together. When Gale returns to teaching after a year long absence, bereft of Mystra's favor, and having run off on some adventure to Baldur's Gate, Yuliana is given a vision of the future--one where she is happily entangled in his arms.
Burdened with that knowledge, she embarks to find out what might be so appealing about Gale that she would do something so absurd, and must decide whether to try and change what the Fates have in store for her.
