Summary
For a second, Will’s hopes spiked up. Maybe Mike really meant to write “Love”. Maybe- no. Mike would never write “Love” on a letter to his best friend. Best friends don’t sign “Love”. Best friends sign “From” or “See you” or “Write soon!”. But never “Love.”
Then he sees it. This paper is crumpled up even tighter than the other letters. It’s just a normal letter, or at least, as normal as the rest. But on the back, in plain black Sharpie, are the five words that best friends most definitely don’t write.
"I think I love you."
will is cursed by vecna at the worst time. mike does his best to save him. also, there's a short steve interruption and mike has a ponytail.
