Summary
It has only been six months, but time isn’t constant when it slips through universes. Time, like any physical element, stretches or squishes as it passes through the layers of the multiverse. In one universe, it spills steadily and slowly, at the same rate as their own. In another it rushes forward. Dick spent five days without more than three hours of sleep trying to get his baby bird back and they still took too long. They were always going to take too long.

Tim was always prepared.
Unfortunately, on the night of Gotham’s worst storm in 20 years, on the night of the blizzard that submerged half of the city, Tim forgot to check his list; he forgot to check the weather; and he forgot that no one was coming to help him. It was just one time. One time that he forgot.
Or, Tim gets stuck in a blizzard and street kid Jason saves him. Maybe together, they can save each other.

"Did you finish your winter break homework?" Tim asked, his "dad voice" coming out. That’s what Jason had deemed it at least. Dick didn’t believe him until last year at their Hanukkah party when Thomas was trying to climb the fireplace.
Caitlyn hummed in affirmation. "Yeah. AP Lang was a pain because the poster board requirements were insane, but I got it done."
"And Computer Science?" Conner added.
"Dad helped me," she shrugged. "I don't know why the hell Mrs. Andrews expects us to learn a whole unit on our own, but whatever. I'm not the one getting a paycheck."
"Please don’t curse in front of your brother," Tim warned, though there was no heat in it. “He repeats everything you say.”
Thomas, who was currently dissecting his sandwich with his fingers, nodded solemnly. "Yeah, Cait. Don't curse. You aren't a witch."
