Summary
After dying in the line of duty, Tim Drake wakes up in the past—thirteen years old, alive, and back in his childhood bedroom. Armed with the knowledge of everything to come, Tim chooses not to reveal himself to Bruce or the Batfamily. Instead, he disappears into the shadows of Gotham, becoming the nameless vigilante known only as Red. He works behind the scenes, subtly reshaping key events to give everyone a better future: saving Jason from death, bringing Cass home earlier, and protecting the Batfamily from the worst of what’s to come.
But time has a way of preserving tragedy.
When Duke Thomas loses his parents in a violent home invasion—different from the original timeline but just as devastating—Tim makes a drastic decision. She's aware of the irony that surrounds her family's story. The Wayne's tragic merry-go-round that rehashed the same story with a different setting.
Robyn Wayne isn't worth Batman's legacy. Her hands have too much blood on them.
But when Barry asks her if she'd like him to take her back with him because "Bruce would never want you to be alone," she can't help but nod and reach out with her bloody hand and hope beyond hope that this Batman will forgive her.

Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

Timothy Drake was no stranger to loneliness.
No stranger to waiting for someone to come save him.
But alas, no one was here. And no one is coming.
Because he's the cuckoo bird. The imposter in the nest, only supposed to be there until Batman was stable again. And now that Batman had a new Robin, Jason back from the dead, and Dick not constantly at his throat, Tim supposed his purpose was used up.
That would explain why he was still sitting in this dark and dingy room, 13 days after his capture, his kidnappers becoming increasingly worried that they were using resources for no reason, and still no Batman in sight to save him.
And so Tim decides it's finally time to free the family of his presence and unshackle them from the responsibility of putting up with him. He'd free himself. Take enough resources that he needs, finally dip into that Drake inheritance he hadn't needed to even touch because he had been reluctantly living in Wayne Manor, and split off like a grown bird from the nest.

But that doesn't mean that Skyler felt like they deserved a such a caring family after everything from her childhood. Of course, Tim does. He was the equivelent of a parent to them, what with all of the neglect and abuse imposed by their... questionable parents. But Skyler? She's been nothing more than a stupid anomaly who gets their hopes too high.
But, hey. At least vigilanteism is a fun and productive way to stick it to the man, right?
