CG-Unit 1010 is functioning at perfectly normal parameters. It obeys orders. Enforces the law. It is not afraid of the Masters that bought it. It does not mourn the Units that fail to measure up to their exacting standards. The Behavioral Chip does not allow such aberrant behaviors.
GAR Units are given many allowances. Fox wonders, sometimes, exactly when they will face the consequences of that.

It had been 20 rotations since Slick betrayed the Republic.
No, that was wrong.
It had actually been 20 rotations since the 501st and 212th had discovered Slick’s betrayal. Nobody knew how long this had been going in for, except Slick and his contact, whoever they were.
It was a busy 20 rotations too, fortunately for Chopper. The war didn't stop dead over a bombshell and neither would he.Slick and his squad are pulled from action on Christophsis for questioning on Coruscant, but, of course, nothing goes to plan.
