Summary
The zombie apocalypse moves fast. Faster than Charlie can keep up with it. He feels like he's always running, and all he wants is a rest.
He can't rest, though. Not when he has people relying on him. With the combined powers of a veteran, a professional golfer, a probably-human-but-maybe-not teen, and a kid he can't remember the name of, they might just have a chance for survival. That is, if they can find their way out of this complex.

Summary
Martin did not ask for much in life. He just liked to keep his head down, not draw attention to himself or his botanical shop. Sure, the planet he was living on was practically collapsing in on itself, both literally and figuratively, but it was only a matter of time before he was able to leave. At least, that's what he kept telling himself.
It takes getting his life saved by an alluring stranger to knock him out of his stupor. His eyes open to the eyes no one can seem to shake. When the stranger turns out to be part of a dangerous anti-authoritarian rebellion, Martin knows he should leave. But he can't go back knowing now how things work behind the scenes. The rabbit hole goes so much deeper than he could have imagined.
But nothing is ever safe on London, something Martin knows all too well. He can either stay complacent, or risk his life fighting back.

Summary
Tubbo wasn’t afraid of the ocean. He had no reason to be. Humans controlled the ocean, not the other way around. He is, however, scared of the giant ship that holds the most feared pirates in the sea. The ones that leave nothing but blood and pain in their path.
So he definitely wasn’t prepared to be offered a position in the crew.
Now he’s stuck on a ship where women and monstrosities walk around as equals, where he has to reshape his entire view of the world, and where death potentially lurks around every corner.
Worse, he’s starting to like it.

Summary
“Dawww, aren’t you the most thoughtful little thing,” Hermes coos, pinching Odysseus’s cheeks until they hurt. He vaguely wonders how much strength the Olympian is holding back to refrain from tearing Odysseus’s face apart.
“I’m a grown man,” Odysseus grunts, trying (and failing) to pry Hermes’ hands off.
“And I’m thousands of years old! My little baby, that’s what you are.”

or; Hermes is sent to inform Odysseus that he has been granted permission to return home. Odysseus thinks that, once he's set sail, it'll be the last he'll see of the messenger. However, what he fails to realise is that, when earning the interest of an Olympian, that favour comes with a heavy price. Apparently, in this case, it means Hermes sticking around to see how long it takes before Odysseus throws himself into the water for some peace and quiet.Bookmarked by Honeybee_Brigade

Summary
“Odysseus.” Odysseus did not startle. He also did not greet Diomedes despite having known of his approach. “Odysseus?”
Perhaps this was some sort of battle related trauma. Diomedes ended up sitting down besides Odysseus and let his shoulder bump against the sullen King. “Talk to me, friend.”
“...About what?”
“What’s going on? Polites is concerned, so are your men. Was it the blood? Or the men who fell? Rest assured, friend, none of yours fell today.”
“Do you think King Sisyphus fights against his punishment? Do you think the Fates would allow him, if he did?”
Flinching, Diomedes observed the change in Odysseus’ eyes. Instead of the colour of the sea, Odysseus’ eyes were taken over by a hue of red– only noticeable when observed in a certain angle but definitely present. Diomedes knew what caused a hue of red like that.
Odysseus had been touched by Ares’ Rage.

I've recently been unexpectedly promoted to lead a department in my organisation, wrote the anonymous emailer.
As there was no one working here when I arrived, my manager, who is head of the organisation, had promised me the choice of my own assistants. However, without warning, he simply presented me with an additional assistant. This new assistant’s first act on his first day was to let a dog into the office. It took several hours to catch and clean up after this dog and it has only been downhill from there. I admit I'm not entirely sure what to do with this assistant now I'm stuck with him. I'm hoping you have some advice?
