So I haven’t written anything serious in like years, let alone fanfiction! But I can’t seem to help it when it comes to these two dorks! Please forgive me for all the alliterations (and lack of dialogue, what is it with my long descriptions!?) though, I swear it wasn't intentional! I only realized it after reading it through! I'll try to write something for every letter of the alphabet but, most likely, there will be some letters repeated in the process, since I generally think of the title first and write the story afterwards. Wei Wuxian finds a child in the woods as he sneaks more Emperor's Smile into the Cloud Recesses. Somehow, another version of himself managed to find a way to cross both dimension and time in his desperation to save A-Yuan.
Now, Wei Wuxian has a child to adopt, a bag full of inventions to distribute, and a war to avert - if possible.
(CQL!WWX finds A-Yuan after the Wen Remnant have turned themselves in to the Jin sect. Instead of going to Jinlintai after them, he makes an array to send A-Yuan away. Another world, another time. Perhaps, the child can live safely with MDZS!WWX.)

Summary
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian had been on a simple trip when they had heard about people going missing in the town they stopped at. During the course of the investigation, they had realized that the culprits had mistakenly formed a time travel array. Somehow, the ensuing fight had resulted in them winding up in the array just as it was activated on its own.
Or, 3 potential points in the past wangxian could have landed at during the war and the 1 time they landed even earlier
