“Shizun seems tense,” Luo Binghe said, all false innocence. Shen Qingqiu narrowed his eyes and approached him with the intensity of a tiger stalking its prey. Luo Binghe’s eyes were wide as he allowed himself to get backed into a wall. “Is there anything this disciple can do to relieve Shizun’s tension?”
Shen Qingqiu shut his fan with a loud snap. Luo Binghe’s eyes darkened with excitement at the noise, then widened again when Shen Qingqiu’s next move was to sharply pinch his cheek. “Who gave you the right to be so cute, ah?” Shen Qingqiu asked, shaking Luo Binghe lightly with the grip on his cheek.

Shen Qingqiu experiences cuteness aggression and has no choice but to treat his husband like a chewtoy. Luo Binghe has no complaints.

Jim Gordon would like to think he's a simple man. He takes his coffee black. He owns four work shirts that he cycles through without any further thought on his appearance. He loves his daughter. He keeps telling people he's going to quit smoking even if he damn well knows he isn't.
Normal.
Unfortunately whatever Jim Gordon would like to think about himself is entirely wrong.
He can't be certain, but he strongly suspects most normal people don't have their local vigilante population constantly dropping wanted criminals at their feet entirely unprompted.

After inhaling her food before Bruce's even halfway through his vanilla milkshake, Stephanie seems to have sobered up a little. She's looking less green, and more like she's trying to develop x-ray vision and look into Bruce's soul.
Or maybe she's still drunk, because she very suddenly and very bluntly tells him, "I used to wish you were my dad," drowning her chips into a little pot of ketchup.
Bruce pauses. He slowly drops the chicken nugget he was about to put in his mouth — since now is probably not the time to complain about how the nuggets are a little dry today.
(Bruce Wayne is not Stephanie Brown's father, not at all.)
