It had appeared last night and would surely vanish from the sky within the evening, having continuing its course through space away from the planet with no name where Renly had been reborn. The planet where, he knew, he would face dragons and monsters born from the cold.
Renly turned away. The comet did not mean anything. He had more pressing matters to attend anyway. He was going North to meet the infamous Ned Stark. With any luck, maybe he would finally find the beginning of the Plot.

A comet doesn’t live very long around the sun. She knew that after reading a page on a particular book, and knew that to be a fact after waking up in a world not her own. She already sees the fate written out for her in the reflection of a mirror and smiles with a face that makes her want to cry.
Sadly for her, even that would be characteristic for the boy.
