As long as Techno can remember, he's lived with his herd of ravagers. They accept him, even take care of him to some extent. Probably because he's a bit ravager himself, even if not fully. But that doesn't change the fact that the smallest and slowest and weakest will always be the first to go. It's just survival of the fittest.
Tango needs some ravagers for Decked Out. Collecting them isn't too hard. In fact, it's mostly automated. After all, it's not like a person could somehow get snagged along with an entire group of ravagers. Right?
Survival is about to become a whole lot fitter for the herd. And Technoblade especially.

Summary
After a new world hop to Season Nine a problem occurs. For some reason the new Sculk is attacking avian players. And as the Hermits land into their season nine server it isn't long until Grian starts to see the glitch himself. And with Grian being as stubborn to get help as normal the hermits have to find a new way to help the avian before the sculk causes unimaginable damage.
Or: Sculk Corruption Grian with some fluff for flufftober.

X sighed, checking to find the coordinates changed again, and slumping. He’d been at this far too long for his liking. It was supposed to be a quick pop-by, just make Doc eat something and go to bed, and then go home to crash himself. Keralis had sent him a Look the last time he saw him, and X really didn’t feel like getting yet another lecture on the importance of breaks, food, and sleep.

Aka, Doc has his past catch up with him. Good thing his family is there to catch him. Featuring a lot of angst and a lot of comfort. And also a slight rant about terrible prison systems.
