San tilts his head.
“I know you can do better,” he whispers, reaching up to caress Yeosang’s bottom lip with his thumb. The touch sends a wave of pleasure through his body.
The second time Yeosang leans into San, he can feel everything: his scent, hot breath, and the softness of his lips pressing against his. Now that his eyes are closed, he lets himself go and puts his arms behind San’s neck, who’s much closer, moving his hands up Yeosang’s back as if he wants him on top of him. But even though the kiss left his head messy and his body hot, Yeosang didn’t move much more than that, sliding his lips against San’s, filling the room with rushed breaths and wet sounds.

San and Yunho were cuddling on the sofa watching whatever drama was on the television. Their limbs tangled with each other as they lay together, their hearts touching as the rain crashed against their window. Their apartment was warm, nice… comforting. Days like this where it was just them, cuddling together and holding each other in the quietness of their home.
It was peaceful.
Sweet, tender, a calmness that they’ve grown used to despite both (usually) matching each other’s energy. Yunho always had a lot of energy, he was like a big dog that clung to San always. He was San’s “protector”, even though San could protect himself, (muscles and all).
San had his head tucked under Yunho’s chin, their bodies warm underneath the blanket, Yunho’s hand draped over San’s waist. It was domestic, something San had craved for a long time after working his ass off for so long.
San looked up at his boyfriend, his eyes glistening with admiration and a gentle love that many people have told them “it will go away soon”. It never did.
Something about young love.

The turning point came fast.
Someone in the crowd accidentally brushed against Yeosang from behind — not a hard shove, just a careless touch. But their hand grazed his tail.
Yeosang froze. Ears flattened.

Yeosang shifted his weight, crossing his arms loosely over his chest, the little curve at his lips hiding the way guilt started creeping in. “I couldn’t say you.”
“Why not?” San’s brow furrowed, a crease digging deep between his eyes. “Why couldn’t you?”
“Because if I did, I wouldn’t have been able to keep a straight face,” Yeosang admitted, voice even but thinner than usual. “I’d just blush like an idiot the entire time, and everyone would know.”
