“You wore me out today,” Jimin stretches, “I can’t remember the last time I wrestled anyone,” there’s a pause before Jimin admits, “It was fun.”
Jungkook grins, “It was. My wolf really enjoyed it.”
Jimin tosses his head back with a laugh, “Mine too. I think he sees you as a worthy opponent, or maybe just recognizes he won’t hurt you if he gets a little rough.” Jimin nudges him with his elbow.
“Mm,” Jungkook agrees, “I’m glad you felt that, too. I’m so used to scaring everyone or accidentally making them uncomfortable. It was nice to kind of…let loose.”
Or: Jimin has been rebuilding his life with the peaceful Kim pack after fleeing his home where they sought to use his status as an Enigma for war and domination. When Jungkook, a fellow rare Enigma, seeks him out for advice, they realize they have more in common than just their wolves.

Jeongguk made a checklist in his head of things he wanted. To fuck Jimin? Yes. To kiss him? Yep. Hold his hand? Definitely. Cuddle him on the couch and spoon him in bed? Absolutely. Fall asleep with him and wake up with him? Desperately. Be the person Jimin came to when he needed someone? Check. Take him on dates? Uh-huh. Call him his boyfriend? That too.
Jeongguk let his imagination spin out around him. He wanted to cook for Jimin and kiss him while he sat on the counter, getting so caught up in each other that the food burnt and they had to order in. He wanted to shower together and make stupid shapes with shampoo in each other's hair, and then kiss until the water went cold. He wanted to take him dancing, and then slip away to be the one getting him off in the bathroom. He wanted to tuck Jimin's always cold hands into his pockets on walks. He wanted to give him his sweatshirts to wear. He wanted to take him to his favourite restaurants and make sure he ate enough. He wanted to spend all night mapping out ways to make him feel good.
He wanted to take him with him to Sapporo and tell him he loved him under the snow.
"Fuck," said Jeongguk, with meaning.

Jimin looked incredulous. His pretty eyes blinked rapidly, body puffing up in disbelief. “It’s one in the goddamn morning.”
Jungkook only cocked his head indulgently. Slid his hand into the pocket of his hoodie and tried not to sway closer. No doubt this neighbour of his would call the police on him.
“Yeah,” he said simply.
“That means I wasn’t asleep early,” his beautiful neighbour deadpanned. “It’s after midnight. A time where most people usually retire for bed. You know, in case that wasn’t clear enough.”
Retire for bed. God, Jimin was such an old man. Who even said that anymore?
Jungkook—very inappropriately—wanted to bite him.
If Jeon Jungkook’s life were a comedy, it would be the kind of sitcom built entirely around his spectacularly bad luck. If it were a horror movie, it would focus on the psychological damage inflicted by his villainous friends. And if it were a romantic comedy—where he repeatedly humiliates himself yet somehow still gets the guy in the end—
Well. That’s where Park Jimin comes in.
