Summary
He gets to the Gilbert house just in time to hear Kol’s scream. Klaus watches helplessly through the doorway of a house he cannot enter as his little brother's body burns. As Kol falls to the floor and does not get back up.
“What did you do?” Klaus snarls.
“We didn't have a choice. He was trying to cut off Jeremy's arm!” The doppelgangers voice is grating, her excuses for the smell of his brother’s burnt flesh negligible.
“Lies! He never would've gotten inside if you hadn't set a trap for him.”
“You said you were going to put him down too.”
Klaus is screaming now, “I was going to make him suffer on my terms!” He takes a breath. Assures himself of the other side and the witches he will extort for whatever favors he needs. “I'm going to burn this house to the ground. And then, when you try to flee for your lives, I'll kill you both without blinking.”

Summary
Ilya’s been growing his hair out for the last two months. He's always liked having long hair, keeps his ears warm and gives lovers something to pull on as he takes them apart.
Ilya is not unaware of trans people but he isn't one of them. He’s pretty sure about that, it's just that sometimes his skin itches like what's inside doesn't fit quite right. But that's fine. It’s pretty ignorable actually because Ilya is married to the love of his life and out and happier than he's ever been even if he does still go to therapy (which has yet to fix him but he's adjusting to the view that that's not how therapy works.)
Anyways, all that is to say that Ilya experiences feelings he doesn't want to admit to anyone as he walks around a Sephora with his hood up. -

Elena doesn’t respond but holds out her empty mug to be refilled.
They sit together quietly for a long time. At least twenty minutes but Caroline doesn’t want to check her phone to find out. She sips intermittently at her mug of vodka and OJ refilling Elena’s cup twice. -

Klaus is clawing at his back as he has been the last few hours or however long it has been. Long enough for the blood from the gouges into his back to mix with the sweat he has worked up. Klaus pulls on his arm hard enough to dislocate it, hoping it being out of the socket will give him the mobility needed to reach the stab wound in his back. Klaus has been in pain long enough that he doesn’t know Caroline is there until she speaks.
“Klaus, we need to talk.” She takes in the sight of him, shirtless, leant against the fireplace with a dislocated shoulder. “What happened to you?” -

Whitaker was used to getting beaten up. Having three older brothers, growing up in the countryside, helping his family run a farm - it all came with the area.
It was fine. Really. He could take a punch. He knew how to tape himself back up, lick his wounds, and move on. Being hurt, to Dennis, was just a part of life.
Dr. Robby doesn't agree.

Women flock to Rozanov; he’s the gravitational centre in every room. Shane gets it. He’s felt it, the shark pull of his orbit. He’s been swallowed up into the belly of desire. What he doesn’t get is how easy it is for Rozanov. Even with Shane’s teammates pooled around him on the dance floor his hands get clammy when a girl in a sequined skirt makes a move on him. Shane used to think maybe he was just awkward; maybe he needed a couple of beers in him to loosen up, but he couldn’t do that during the season.
Then Ilya Rozanov kissed him and the craving was so clear in Shane’s mind he was able to visualise every sharp edge of it, and he knew he wanted to be on his knees.
2013. It’s been two years since he and Rozanov hooked up in Nashville and exchanged phone numbers. It’s a month till Boston comes to Montreal and Rozanov’s promise of ‘next time’ could go into fulfilment. Shane Hollander wants to play hockey. He wants to play it well. The other thing is a thing he cannot allow himself to want.
