Summary
Will Byers thinks it would be better if he just vanishes from the face of the earth, so he does…kind of. He meets a lost soul on his journey to disappearance, an awkward but somehow extrovertedly obnoxious, free-spirited character with dark secrets to rival his own.

Summary
Will bites his lip and nods, looking down at his shoes again so Richie won't see how hard he's holding back a giddy smile.
Everybody in the party knows everything about him. Maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing to keep a secret from Mike for a little while.
It's kind of exciting. Sneaking in a boy Mike hates.
Will shakes his head, trying to clear Mike from it for the night. Only when he looks back up at Richie, Richie has this conspiratorial smile on his face, like maybe Will isn't the only one eager to piss off Mike Wheeler.
OR: the concept of Richie Tozier being Will Byers' dirty little secret and Mike Wheeler being so jealous he can't breathe. Byler endgame.

Summary
Will just wanted to bring his brother home. He didn’t plan on sharing motel beds, surviving Mike Wheeler’s jealousy spiral, or confronting feelings he’s spent years burying.
Mike thinks Will likes girls.
Will thinks Mike will never love him back.
Both of them are wrong.A post-canon (with some small tweaks) road trip full of tension, nightmares, gay panic, and a very long drive toward the truth.
Or
Water dripped from Will's hair, ran down his jaw, caught on his lips.
Mike stared at it.
Stared like he'd forgotten where he was.
Then, slowly he lifted a towel and pressed it gently to Will's mouth, wiping the water away. His hand didn't even shake. He was steady.
Deliberate.
Will's breath stuttered. Tingles tremored all the way up his spine.
He didn't move. He couldn't. He was too aware of Mike's hand, of the way his eyes kept dropping back to his lips.
That look again.
The one Will had seen a dozen times now and never understood.
