Summary
Izuku slowly drifts towards the back edge of the building, as if drawn by some invisible force. He gazes down into the abandoned alley below, full of trash cans and rats most likely. Bakugou's words replay in his head, over and over again.
Take a swan dive off the roof.
For the first time in his life, Izuku doesn't overthink his decision.
Instead, he pivots on his heel, inching them closer to the edge. With outstretched arms, Izuku tilts his body backward.
He falls.
TLDR - Izuku decided to take Bakugou’s advice and attempts to kill himself, but the next day he wakes up unharmed and very confused.

Every year of headache-inducing brats brings a new set of challenges, and Shouta is well aware of this. This year is no different - he’s got Tensei’s younger brother who is practically his pseudo-nephew, a foster kid with a mental quirk who outright refuses to speak during class, and somehow he pulled the short straw to receive Endeavor’s youngest son.
It quickly becomes apparent, however, that even these class highlights will not be the priority focus in avoiding disasters this year. They’re only a week in when the kid he placed in Seat 17 brutally attacks a classmate from 1B, landing the other kid in the hospital and refusing to provide any semblance of explanation to the staff.

Especially after the way the man had singled Buck out when his relationship with Tommy had ended two months before. Now a month later, Gerard is still at the 118 with no sign of Bobby returning anytime soon. The Captain of the 118 tries to force Buck and Eddie into searching through a crumbling museum during a five-alarm fire, when both were trying to leave early to head down to El Paso to get Christopher back. When they refuse to search, Gerard goes on the attack and Buck and Eddie hit an artifact that takes their heart's desire into account and throws them back in time to the day they met.

Everyone goes back in time. It’s just a thing that happens every now and then. Usually it’s just a day, or two, or three. Sometimes a week. A small percentage go back months. It just happens. Completely random. No rhyme, no reason, no discernible cost, no obvious benefit. Some people change their decisions, some don’t. But the Manus Dei are a breed apart. They go back years, a decade, more. They serve a patron with purpose and reason, and while the changes in their actions always have great benefits, the personal cost is also great.
