He traces over the letters with his fingers, as if he doesn’t know the way she writes his name by heart. He picks the cup up and sits at his table. It’s free today, the one with a perfect view. It’s in the corner, slightly hidden by a pot plant, so it’s harder to see that he’s staring, but not enough to block his view of her face as she serves her customers nor the curve of her ass when she turns around to pour a drink.
