Summary
Horologium Hephaestus Henry Black. A rotund and ridiculous name for the timid and small boy, the youngest of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Black. Horologium, or Harry as he preferred did not like his name, or, truthfully his family. His name had no mythos associated with it, a forgettable constellation, truly, lacking any character or symbolism besides a clock or pendulum. He scoured the library looking for anything remotely interesting about his name, and besides being named after a relative and a constellation, his name held no meaning. Making him the unliked and unmemorable member of his ancient and noble family.
OR
Harry is thrown back in time and born into the Black family as Orion and Walburga's third son. He has an unexpected encounter with a certain Dark Lord that changes his life forever. This is my new fic, and I will be updating it pretty regularly, so stick around and read it :D Thanks!

Harry Potter is a very unfortunate man, the survivor and the man-who-conquered. Dying at the ripe age of 35 after he was killed by a rogue death eater, he is transported to a different reality where he is head of the Auror department. He discovers that this version of him was basically the personal bodyguard of none other than the Minister of Magic, Tom Riddle. With a very strange bond to the Minister in question.
Living and Dying was always his thing. He could manage this new world… right? Yeah, he was going to die (cause he wanted to).

A case that doesn't make sense leads Harry, now working for the Auror department, to Azkaban, where the previous dark lord is serving a lifetime sentence, in hopes of help. He had not expected to find Voldemort in the condition that he did though. Voldemort is desperate for a way out of prison which leads to a situation neither of them wanted or were prepared for and they both struggle to adjust. At the same time, a dark new threat grows in the shadows of the Wizarding World. Somewhat inspired by White Collar and the Blacklist but not based on these. Slave!Tom Riddle/Voldemort.
