Summary
The gang goes on a trip to Mexico! A much needed destresser, after fighting Eggman constantly. So, when Sonic pulls up at the airport and spots a certain Hottopic wannabe that he may or may not have a rather embarassing... attraction towards, he does what any sane hedgehog would do when facing their crush and the very person that miiiight want his guts.
He pushes it far far away into the deepest pits of his mind!
Spoiler: It's not working.
Based off of my recent trip to Mexico except I didn't go with my three-foot-tall emo crush. Lets see how this goes.

Summary
If you were to tell Sonic this was how his day would end, he never would have believed you… probably would have laughed and thrown out a “Yeah, sure, bud.”
But here he is — lying down with a clinging hoglet wearing his chili dog t-shirt, pressed to his chest, letting out soft snores and purrs.
It’s insane… One moment he’s carefree, scoping out an abandoned G.U.N. base with Grouchy Shadow — the next, he’s a dad to a lab-made hoglet using his and Shadow’s DNA of all people? Yeah. Crazy day.
Looking back on it, and how much it’ll change him and everyone around him, he can’t say he regrets his decision that night.
But right now, he doesn’t know that yet. All he can think is: “What am I supposed to do now?” as he pulls the blanket over the two of them for bed.

Or: A Sonadow fanchild AU I came up with because I really wanted to write a slow burn with a LOT of fluff. It might start out angsty (especially with Shadow the Dumbass — but he’ll come around), but trust me, it’s mostly just found family fluff and Sonic learning how to be the best dad possible with help from his friends.
Granted, with lots of bumps along the way.

Summary
Prince Sonic has been leading the Freedom Fight against Black Doom's empire for years. When his mother, Queen Aleena, orders Sonic to go to the coming-of-age ceremony of Prince Shadow with the hopes of an engagement, Sonic is horrified. He's more horrified to learn that the Queen wants him to assassinate the other prince. Sonic is determined to find another way to protect his people, but with the looming threat of a mysterious power source Doom is rumored to be in possession of and General Infinite entering the scene, Sonic may not have a choice.
Prince Shadow plans to overthrow his father, Emperor Black Doom, who has been neglecting their people for far too long. When the Prince of Mobotropolis appears at his coming-of-age ceremony, Shadow is presented with a unique opportunity. Prince Sonic is an unpredictable variable, but one that may help Shadow achieve his goals, in the end.
Neither of them plan to fall for each other in the process.

Shadow and Sonic have spent 8 wonderful years together. But not everything lasts.
In the past few months, Shadow has withdrawn. No, not only withdrawn, it’s like he’s started to despise Sonic.Yet, Sonic refuses to give up. He’s not much of a cook, but working hard to make all of Shadow’s favorite dishes for a romantic meal might be the spark that reignites their flame.
