Summary
Sophia managed to get Buck alone in the kitchen. “Hey, Buck, right? I’ve heard so much about you. Seriously, Eddie does not shut up about you.”
Buck gave her a bashful smile, and yeah, Sophia could definitely see how easily Eddie fell for him. The air around this guy screamed warmth and comfort, two things that Sophia knew Eddie craved.
“I can say the same about you,” he said.
“How long have you two been together?”
The way Buck tilted his head reminded Sophia of an overgrown puppy, the pull of his eyebrows bringing attention to his frankly beautiful eyes. “Together?”
Eddie and Buck were in El Paso for Christmas. The Diaz family has opinions.

Summary
“Marry me,” he blurted out, causing the other man to freeze and turn to stare at him.
“What?”
Eddie slowly lowered himself down on one knee, keeping eye contact with Buck, his blue eyes widening as he watched Eddie sink to the ground. Somewhere in the background, he hears a woman squealing as she notices what’s happening.
Eddie clears his throat, grabbing one of Buck’s hands as a crowd starts to form around them. “Buck... Evan. There is nothing more that I want than to spend the rest of my life getting pretzels with you at the zoo listening to your endless fun animal facts while you buy our son sugary confections that he doesn’t need just because it makes him happy... So will you please marry me?”

Summary
Bobby Nash is dead.
He’s not crouched over in prayer anymore. He’s not at the lab.
He doesn’t know where he is. There’s no one here to tell him.
His surroundings are white - not sterile, hospital white, but a few shades lighter. Off-white. Cream. A comfortable white. It’s empty here. No physical environment. No room.
This isn’t Heaven. This isn’t Hell. This isn’t Purgatory.
He knows this for certain.
Bobby’s not physically in a body.
He’s just… here… existing. Not dead or alive. Somewhere in between.
*
Or - Bobby dies without closure. He needs to visit Buck’s past, present, and future in order to get it. Witness Bobby’s relationship with Buck, and Buck’s relationship with Eddie, through Bobby’s eyes.
