Admittedly, they’re a fairly likeable monster. Lovable even, if you’re the type to care about such things. Which Astarion obviously isn’t.
Also admittedly, giving the cannibal murderer a taste for his flesh has the potential to cause far more problems than it solves.
Astarion decides its only fair that the Dark Urge get a little taste in exchange for the blood they've given him. For entirely altruistic reasons. Obviously.

There’s really no good thing to say in circumstances such as these, but “Welcome back,” is at least relatively neutral.
“Hi,” they say, and then, “Are you okay?”
“Am I okay?!” The words come out high pitched and over-loud, almost a screech, and Astarion forces his voice to be quieter lest they be overheard when he hisses, “I killed you!”
“I know. That was the plan.” They take in his expression. “Was that not the plan?”
Astarion is just trying to survive this madness. He's not looking for a friend, and he's definitely not looking for a sub. Unfortunately for him, the Party's pet amnesiac murderhobo has other ideas.

He does hate him, because hate is baked into onryō at the soul level, but that’s just an emotion. Just a thing he knows about himself. He hates nankotsu, and sleet, and Shimano. Self knowledge it’s good to have, but not actually important.
Shimano is simply… an inevitability. A function of how the world operates, like gravity or the sunrise.

She doesn’t glow, exactly. Instead, she appears always to be lit by some light source not present in this realm, as though the lights of her father’s palace can still find her, even on land.

I only care that stalking you isn't leaving him any time for me." He shifts, testing the limits of the TTK, and then adds, a little begrudging, "Or for his family and stuff, too, I guess.”

Tim is really good at being a supervillain, and really really bad at telling cute boys that he wants to date them. So Jason decides to do it for him. It's what any good boyfriend would do, right?
