Summary
How is one to react when offered something they thought impossible to ever have?
For Doey, he wasn’t quite sure. The man who had hurt him so much and made him into something inhuman had just offered to undo it. Split apart the children he had merged into one being.
At first, he doesn’t trust this to be possible, or for the Doctor to even be telling the truth. But desperation leads Doey into accepting, hesitant to trust Harley as he was. However, what he first imagined as a blissful dream slowly morphs into a cacophonous nightmare.
Even if mentally separated, the body had to be shared amongst them. And one biting off more than they could chew led to grim consequences for them all.

Summary
this AU takes place during the tape where Doey meets his parents after "acclimating" to his new body. Instead of killing his family, he escapes the room, and rampages throughout the factory. His escapade allowed others to escape as well, and the whole debacle caused such a scandal that the company was shut down. Now, like many of the other toys, Doey has to adjust to his life outside of factory walls. Luckily, The Ayers are willing to help.

Lucky enough for Soundwave, he was taught such methods.
All it took however was a single well-thrown grenade. A small canister to take down the Decepticon Third-in-Command. He was successfully retrieved. With the Con’ temporally disabled, it would only be a matter of time until Megatron’s plan would be provided. Or, well, so Optimus thought.

“I have no idea what you're talking about, laborer.” Spy replies immediately. Engineer’s only response is a disbelieving hum, so Spy continues. “The bushman’s woes are none of my concern.”
“But you’re gonna find out what’s bothering him,” Engineer says quietly. It's not a request, because they both knew Spy was going to pry, anyway. “An’ when you do, you’re gonna tell th' rest of us how to help.”
