Pretty classic story of stubborn person trying to resist their love for their best friend but failing miserably. Love this as a pretty spoiler free post-star ending story. Love Panam and Fem V. Love getting a strong Panam POV. Definitely just loved all of the casual moments between these two. No life threatening plot just living life.

Great follow up to the Tower ending in cyberpunk. Gives a more concrete happy ending rather than the bittersweet one in canon. Especially for V and Judy because that ending was a kick in the teeth. Love how they recontextualized the NUSA’s actions to not be as altruistic as they said. Very healing overall.

When V was going to meet Hanako Arasaka at Embers, she already had a bad feeling. Hanako was key to her survival, but she'd also feared to meet the woman in an informal atmosphere, not really knowing why, though. She just felt how Hanako stirred something deep inside her and hoped her irritation about the intimidating heiress wouldn't get in the way of, well, everything. Also, Hanako was the embodiment of a corpo, and those couldn't be trusted, right? V would give the porcelain bitch nothing. Nothing.
Oh, girl. Fuckin' Relic, always going off at the wrong time.
