Summary
Lance wholeheartedly believes that he is the worst person in the universe to have been chosen as Blue’s Paladin. He’s annoying, he’s stupid, and he’s always messing things up. When an alien race invites Voltron for a celebration in their honour, Lance isn’t feeling it. He nearly screwed up the mission that freed the Planet, and he feels he is in no way worthy of their gratitude. In typical Lance fashion, he decides that the best way to keep everyone from getting pissed at him is to stop talking. Maybe then, he won’t make any mistakes.

Keith smiled.
“Aww, he’s kinda like a kitten.” Hunk cooed, eyes sparkling mischievously. Keith didn’t flip Hunk off though, only gave him a look that screamed ‘potential murder’ if he didn’t pause that sentence right then and there.

It hits them both at the same time. Which is honestly quite unnerving as Lance should know before Allura that he wants to propose to his own boyfriend. Allura has to clap her hands over her mouth to stop an excited yell escaping, which she’s only half successful in doing, while Lance just stares in horror at his friend.
“How did I only just realise this?” he says, voice far out of it’s normal range.
