Satoru Gojo is, in a word, infuriating. He's that rare type of person who makes Suguru think "Fuck you. God's not supposed to play favorites."
He's powerful enough to earn the respect of all of their seniors and good-looking in a way that makes people stop on the street and stare as they pass by.
Suguru wants to believe he's just lucky — born lucky and beautiful and rich — but he comes to find that Satoru Gojo is also fucking brilliant in a way that even Suguru, resentful of God’s favorite, is drawn to with awe.

He’s overheard plenty of lunchroom conversations about improvised weapons, where people would loot first, that sort of thing. Yet really being in it - really - somehow doesn’t feel real at all.
