Since they had reunited, Branch noticed that John Dory always wore a single glove. Just one. Not a pair.
He never wore gloves when they were singing. One of their managers had suggested it once, saying it'd look good, but JD quickly shut the idea down. He complained that they were restrictive. Which made just as little sense then as it did now.

Summary
“Out with it Mob, there’s no need to worry. Remember what we talked about: it’s important to speak what’s on your mind if something bothers you.”
That finally makes the ESPer relax a little and his fingers stop their fidgeting. The edges of his lips curl into a small and soft smile and he nods. The sight soothes some of Reigen's own worries and he returns Mob's smile with his own.
What Reigen isn’t prepared for are Mob’s next words.
“It’s your soulmark, Shishou.”

Reigen's life is rarely straightforward.
There's always some kind of bad news or life changing revelation waiting just around the corner. Normally, he considers himself well adjusted to it at this point. When Mob catches a glimpse of his soulmark however, Reigen realizes that maybe there's still things he isn't prepared for after all.

Summary
He isn't sure what exactly pushes him to be difficult right then, when he nods resolutely and marches past Serizawa to the stairs. He hears the other man's footfalls rushing to catch up behind him, and finds he doesn't need confirmation when they reach the right door, the way the air crackles around them. The way he can taste it, staticky on his tongue, fizzing when he swallows.
It's a perfectly normal, innocuous looking door, but the presence inside looms.
(aka i wanted to beat reigen up. good job getting possessed idiot)
