He gets his balance back at the last second, throwing his hands out in front of him. That’s when he sees it, “Woah….”
There are scars creeping out from under his wraps, from his fingertips all the way to the tops of his shoulders. They’re bright orange and nearly glowing, like Kintsugi pottery, and when he tries to flex his fingers they struggle to cooperate.
“Mikey you okay?” He doesn’t know which brother called out to him, too focused on the fact that the scars seem to be growing in size, like cracks in his skin.
“Ohhhh that canNOT be good”. His voice wobbles along with his body.
“Mikey?” One of his brothers is significantly closer, which is good, because he’s too busy passing out to keep standing.
