…they had been young, and Michael wanted to be brave. He wanted to do dangerous things with little regard to his own personal safety, and that was what made Michael a hero in her eyes. When things got scary and the lights turned out, he would roll his eyes at their youngest brother’s cries for safety, stating that nothing could hurt them- if they tried, he would destroy them.
