The room is dark, only the glow of the TV illuminating the space. Jason shifts a little, and Tim makes a noise, grumpy and squirms closer to him, and that’s when he realizes what woke him.
Dick and Damian have vanished, probably to their beds during or after the movie, leaving the couch and the room empty except for him and Tim.
Tim who has wormed closer in his sleep, and is now sprawled across his chest, and moving, these tiny hitching rolls of his hips that makes Jason shiver where he’s pinned.

Summary
The first time Tim watches him skate, it's a cold day in January. He stands on the rise between the two properties, the Drake estate's boundary butting up to an iced over old pond that Tim used to see Dick and Bruce slipping around on, laughing and free of gear and having fun.
Jason is there now, and he's skating, chasing a puck around the ice, so graceful and quick he looks like he's flying, and there's something giddy and free in his grin, in the way he moves and the wave of his dark hair and the flash of his red taped stick.
The first time Tim watches him skate, he's thirteen and Jason is newly placed with the Waynes, a year before he can enter the junior league and so goddamn good that he takes Tim's breath away.
