    Summary

The leather used to be like armour. Protection against a world out to fucking get him when his own skin felt far too softly vulnerable to leave so delicate and exposed. He relished in everything it stood for back then. Found euphoria in the hyper-masculine status it brought him, and the power that came with it. Willingly let it consume him until it became his whole world, because the one beyond the doors of the bars was never any better.

He built himself a reputation. Blackbeard, the leather daddy Dom.

As Blackbeard, the world could never harm him. As Blackbeard, his own dysphoria could never touch him. As Blackbeard, he knew he was safe.

It’s still true, all these years later, but his leathers are worn with age just like the rest of him, and Ed is so tired of playing pretend.

    Summary

The coastal city of Warden Port is a thriving hotspot of pirate tourism, rumoured to be the death place of Blackbeard himself three hundred years ago. Legends say that as he was struck down by the heroic Prince Banes he cursed the town, vowing to one day return and swallow it whole in revenge.

Some say Blackbeard is searching for his decapitated head. Others claim he won’t rest until the city is freed from colonial rule. But when Mayor Ricky Banes unveils a statue of his ancestor defeating the notorious pirate, it sets the curse into motion and plunges the city into supernatural chaos, giving everyone a chance to find out exactly what Blackbeard is after. Guided by past life memories and half remembered dreams, historic folklore expert Stede and his friends must try and stop the curse and expose what really happened that fateful night–before it’s too late.

    Summary

Stede Bonnet is on a mission - prove himself useful and avoid getting fired and cut off from his family wealth. All he has to do is convince a crew employed by his father’s company that their woodland construction site is not being terrorised by a supernatural entity.

What could possibly go wrong? It’s not like Stede believes in ghosts or demons or curses, so he has nothing to fear.

However, seeing is believing, just as they say. As it turns out, there's merit to the crew's panicked reports, and Stede is about to learn that fear will be the last thing on his mind when he discovers the nature of what's really lurking in the woods.

    Summary

In 1919, telegraph operator Stede Bonnet returns from the Great War with no memory and no voice, unable to recall what happened to break his mind. On his first night at home, he sees the translucent image of a man he knows is Ed in the mirror, except that this Ed comes from 1719.

Just as Stede knows that he's lost his Ed, this Ed has lost his Stede, and neither of them knows why. Reaching out across these broken lines of connection over two centuries, they'll work together to remember the endings of their stories, and to find what they've lost.
