Summary
The Medicine Seller of Ri was aware that his next exorcism was going to be unusual. Having both inu mononoke and inu yokai in one place might not be unheard of, but their unusual behavior was unsettling. Had he known more about dog yokai, he might have been able to recognize their intent. Not that knowing could have saved him.

Summary
Vampire history tells that the progenitor went through another evolution that introduced the alpha gene. The gene then found its way through the Purebloodlines, although it was a rare gene that not every Pureblood born held. While this happened with them, the same evaluation occurred within the bloodlines of the first hunters, except theirs became known as the omega gene.
The Kiryu's lineage can trace back to the first hunters, and for the first time in hundreds of years, they gave birth to an omega. At the same time, the Kurans realized their baby boy was an alpha.
