When Ranma has his memory of martial arts removed by Shampoo, a series of events are kicked off that give many in Nerima a greater understanding about who they are and what they want.
Diverging from the main story after the ice-skating arc, this is a story focusing on personal growth and understanding, with plenty of cannon appropriate shenanigans, humor, and magical artifacts to help/get in the way. Also lots of queer stuff, because of course, what else?

One year ago, Souun Tendou received a postcard from his best friend and training partner Genma Saotome telling him that his training journey with his son Ranma was coming to an end, and they were on their way to the Tendou Dojo. One year ago, Souun told his daughters about the engagement and saw how badly they reacted.
One year ago, Genma and Ranma never made it to the Tendou Dojo, and Souun was left to wonder where they were.
Today, Souun wonders if the engagement is even on at all. He wonders, until he hears a knock at the door.

Ranma needs a way to lock his curse and fast. Why? Because his mother has decided she's going to stay until she finally meets Ranma, and she was just told that Ranma will be gone for months. So preparing to become "Ranko" long term, Ranma gets Shan pu to give him the water proof soap.
However his plan is complicated when an ancient Joketsuzoku artifact is uncovered in the aftermath of Happosai's death, causing Shan pu to question herself, bringing the Joketsuzoku to the brink of civil war, and on top of that, making Ranma pregnant with Akane's baby!
