He wasn't frowning like most of the others were, but for one of the first times in Jiang Cheng's memory, there also was no trace of a smile. His own pulse was pounding in his temples, a rough rhythm that helped him to focus on the here and now, rather than the howling fear thrumming through him. He turned his gaze back to the map.
