A story of how John Reese, ex CIA hitman and recovering human being, makes a new friend, rediscovers his sexuality, explores asking for things and (after creating some chaos in the already chaotic lives of Team Machine) stumbles his way into love and acceptance.
Contains v brief discussions of a main character's canonical suicidal ideation and (in my opinion also canonical) past abusive relationship - but neither in any detail. Some spoilers for events up to roughly half way through Season 3.
