    Summary

    Phil has always had an easier time with this, Dan thinks. It’s not a sore spot like he anticipated, despite feeding into his late night spirals after their calls go quiet with nothing but the soft sounds of Phil asleep. That’s between him and the lord.

    Phil, who will take his hand in the dark of his bedroom and draw him closer. Phil, who holds his demons and never asks for anything in return. Phil, who kisses him goodbye like wanting and waiting.

    Dan wants to love him, more than anything. Wants to tell him. Wants this puppy love to be real.

    Or, three times Phil tells Dan he loves him the first time Dan says it back.

    Summary

    The thing that pisses Dan off the most is all the bullshit around vampires. So, to clear up some misconceptions;

    - The Garlic Thing is a myth made up in the 1600s by the same people who said being left handed made you a witch. (Every witch Dan met has been ambidextrous.)
    - Sunlight hurts, but it doesn’t kill. This also doesn’t affect all vampires, usually only ones who don’t have any exposure during childhood.
    - You cannot turn people. Unfortunately, it’s an affliction given at birth. Usually genetic, always bullshit.

    If you could turn people, Dan would have turned Phil years ago. When he was younger, he’d feed off of birds or squirrels in his yard— anything to avoid hurting people.

    Then Dan had met Phil via the internet, who’d been more than willing to bear his neck and let teeth sink into the muscle of his jugular. Phil burned for it, always sliding fingers into heat straightened hair and tipping his head back against the hands that cradled him so carefully.

    Summary

    “I want you to be in charge,” Dan says one of the night they’re apart, but talking via Skype. He’s got his laptop propped on a chair next to his bed. If he pretends hard enough, it’s almost like laying beside Phil. “I want you to choke me.”

    Phil stills, adjusting his bangs and glasses to make sure he’s really seeing Dan. Because he’s a thoughtful asshole and Dan is in lov— and he’s Dan’s.

    Sorry for bothering you. I know it’s been a couple years, and you don’t want anything to do with this but Brendon is gonna preform fever again. Thought you might be interested.

    Summary

    Bill hates Exy. Well, he hates sports in general. He’s got too many limbs and not enough space to coordinate them all. Exy, though, came like second nature. He’s top twenty in his first year despite his best efforts to stay out of the spotlight. He plays stupidly well, all because he picks up where Mike misses or Butcher throwing plays just to be annoying. He can’t turn off keeping his eyes on the ball like it’ll give him every answer he’s been looking for. Exy is easy. Bill fucking hates it.

    Things change when Pete Wentz (Starting Backliner for the Edgar Allen Ravens) and Ryan Ross (Starting Striker for the Edgar Allen Ravens) transfer to Wolves’ Den. It sounds eerily similar to a story Gerard told Bill when he first started; about violence, Baltimore and their coach’s past. He isn’t quite sure how he feels about the new transfers, or the backliner himself, but he has Gabe’s sympathies and Frank’s resentment.
