Summary
For almost as long as Eddie can remember, his mom has been a vampire. She secretly feeds on him and him alone in the isolation of their home. He's managed this his whole life, never telling anyone, not even the Losers. After he and his friends defeat It, though, it seems like she's getting worse. Hungrier. But what is he supposed to do? She's his mother, after all.
The rest of the Losers don't know exactly what's going on, but they slowly realize that something is horribly wrong. And if Eddie isn't going to just tell them the truth, they'll have to figure it out themselves. They'll have to save Eddie before it's too late.

Through the office rumor mill Richie learns that Eddie has a mortgage on a house he doesn't live in, a frequently used membership in the gym on the fourth floor, and an ongoing divorce that keeps him tightly glued to his cell phone, constantly whispering, "We said we'd only talk via the mediator. No, Myra, only via the mediator," through gritted teeth, pacing in his office whenever Richie happens to pass by after his lunch break.
Richie has a Playstation 3 that only works when leaned slightly to the side, propped up with a broken mug he made taking a drunken pottery class with Bev. So they're on slightly different life paths.
