Summary
Bruce has always been… unconventional. He wasn't given a very good hand in the first place, with everything he's gone through it's no wonder he's a bit different. Although sometimes it can sting, he's proud of the things he's done. If he changed anything, he wouldn't have his beautiful pups. And he would never have gotten the chance to truly meet his partner.
He should have known better to let his guard down.
OR: Bruce is living his best life completely blind sighted to the fact no one knows he's an Omega.

Bruce had a problem, a small, totally not weird or all consuming problem. It was so normal, and not creepy. It's not like he wanted to eat his best friend alive and ride him into the sunset. That would be weird. And he's not weird, he's so. So. So normal.
Or: Bruce is too busy being cock hungry and trying not to defile his best friend to notice said best friend is going to devour him.

Right. It’s not hard to keep quiet, to not reveal he can’t stop thinking of him, of kissing and touching and giving himself up to him.
Bruce shrugs his shoulders, causing Clark to remove his hand; it stings. With a somewhat steady voice, he responds, “Harmless. It was just pink dust.”

He was trying to tell Bruce that he was ready, that he knew that Bruce was genuine, that he was ready for the next step. In his panic, in his fear, in his guilt and his shame, all Bruce had been able to do was play Clark’s advances off, pretend that he didn’t notice, pretend that he didn’t stay up all night stirring in his bed, bracing himself for the inevitable day when Clark stated his needs out loud, leaving Bruce unable to play dumb any longer.
Today was that day.
