A very heavy angst. Dark and foreboding atmosphere, hope and love, a dramatic ending, and a soft epilogue. For those in need of a proper heart-wrenching.

Since the age of 14, Sherlock has struggled with an undiagnosed (and untreated) eating disorder. He has good periods and bad periods, but most of the time he manages. After a year of living together, John figures out the reason behind Sherlock’s strange eating habits and both of them struggle to understand and deal with this complicated relationship with food when it slowly starts to spiral out of control.

A great QPR story. When you're looking for some angst, emotions and relationships that feel real, and a damn good casefic (third in the series), come here. The case is brilliant and the emotions genuine and real-feeling. I'm aware I'm repeating myself but I just need to stress that this is a very good fic (series).

Summary
John says every time Sherlock says 'stop' he will do so immediately. Sherlock knows that there is always a point that most men say they can't stop. The idea that John might be so much more than what Sherlock has come to expect from other men intrigues him, so he begins an experiment in consent.
John begins to realise he is being tested, but he doesn't know why. (Does he ever when it comes to Sherlock?) All he knows is that something happened in Sherlock's past to make him think that what he wants or doesn't want doesn't matter in the bedroom.
Then the nightmares start.
