Granted, you were insignificant to a god like Khonshu. You weren’t excessively talented, had never been in a fight, and possessed none of the qualities that Khonshu would seek in an Avatar. You were just… normal. There was nothing about you that should have drawn the god to your side, and yet he never really seemed to leave.

Clark was a mild mannered man, and everyone around him knew if. Lois loves to affectionately compare him to a dog, his neighbour when Clark helped them moved in did so similarly. Heck, even the hotdog vendor outside commended Clark for his unwavering loyalty to his food- like a dog. Clark would only grin sheepishly and laugh, maybe flush if it was Lois. It was so common place that Clark didn’t think anything of it most of the time, Lois attributed the comparison to his face? And entire demeanour it seemed, though Clark struggled to the find the similarity between himself and a dog.
Then he was between Lex’s thighs, with dog ears perched on his head.
