Summary
The galaxy teeters on the brink of war. On the desert world of Tatooine, an insurgency led by the mysterious Rain Bringers challenges the brutal rule of the Hutt Cartel. This rebel force, led by the elusive warlord known only as the Desert Drake, seeks to free Tatooine’s enslaved people and dismantle Hutt dominance.
Little is known about the Desert Drake, save that he is a former gladiator slave whose rise to power has ignited a fierce guerilla war. For a time, the Republic ignored the conflict, viewing it as a distant struggle. But the war has now spilled into Republic space, with violent skirmishes and terror attacks forcing the Senate to intervene.
Desperate to prevent an all-out war, the Republic has called for a peace summit on the neutral planet of Naboo. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Senator Padmé Amidala have been dispatched to mediate between the Hutts and the Rain Bringers. However, the identity of the Desert Drake remains a mystery, as tensions rise and the fate of Tatooine—and the Republic—hangs in the balance...

Like most Republic citizens, the Naberries have never spent much time thinking about the Jedi. But that changes with the birth of their daughter Ilaré.

Summary
After Order 66 is initiated, Padme, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Sabe flee the Empire and find themselves on Tatooine. Quickly, they become wrapped up in a blossoming rebellion led by a mother and son. It doesn't take Qui-Gon long to realize that the son, a man called Anakin, has power unlike any Jedi he had ever met.
The moment Anakin first sees Padme, he falls hard. But he doesn't know the first thing about pursuing a woman who was once a queen and a senator.
Sabe has harboring not-so-secret feelings for Obi-Wan for years. Now hiding out on Tatooine, she is forced to confront those feelings.
