    MarcusBarkus : I followed the recipe exactly except that I replaced nutmeg with ground anise for more of a kick. It did not turn out well. The taste was abysmal, like biting into a ball of cough medicine. I’ll have to dispose of the whole thing. I don’t know what went wrong because I followed the recipe to a tee.
