Summary
Pen knew he was popular with the ladies, well, at least back home, just ask his fanclub! But no one in Sandrock seemed to show him much interest until the new builder, Lucy, showed up. One too many drinks had the builder all over Pen one late night at the Saloon and while Pen may have blood on his hands, he at least had the decency to ensure his partners were sober enough to consent.
However, when word gets back to Matilda, it becomes clear that the best way to keep the budding builder under a watchful eye would be to have Pen forge a relationship with her. He can distract and slow down her progress, and maybe she’d even be willing to join their side, or at the very least, not have the heart to fight against her beloved in the end.
It’s not like Pen could ever fall for his enemy, right?

The Knight chuckled. “Ohhhh, so you cheated on little bandit-Boy? Whose son is he? Owen’s? No, you're not the type for soft and squishy. Wait! Wait, wait…. The Bird–doctor? Damn Skinny! Didn't know you two were that close!” He laughed, seemingly amused.
“Can't you see it?” You replied. Now it was your time to be confused.
Pen's face grew annoyed. Did he really not know? Did he think so little of you?“I’m out. Tell me who the father is?! I’m tired of guessing.” You wanted to speak, but the words simply didn't want to leave your lips.
Pen glanced at the Boy as you did not speak to him.
“Who's your father, little one?”Adam straightened his shoulders and made himself bigger. They were so much alike. The way Adam stepped in front of you, nearly protecting and posing at the same time.
“You.” Adam said, placing confidence in his voice. “You are my father.”
Pen chuckled a few seconds, before Adam's words fully sunk in.---

Summary
This story goes with the premise that Lucy actually gets to make some choices when the main story starts going a bit haywire. It takes place after the quest Buried Secrets when Lucy first comes back to town and takes a divergent path from there. It reflects that she is actually dating Pen instead of how the game ignores it completely and expects us to sell him out! And basically tries to explore every possible avenue that the game doesn't (including the diamond ring). This was my way of finding some closure for what was a pretty depressing point in the game for me. Also, it helped me create more Pen content! I hope you enjoy!
