“Wh—I’m sorry, what?” Eddie stutters.

Eddie is too stunned to speak. “Wh—I—I don’t even know you!” She crosses her arms across her chest for protection, but she visibly cringes at the feel of cold wetness on her skin.

Summary
Hyuntak has spent his entire life wondering where he fits on the map of his shortcomings and virtues, divided between two homes with the hungry, vast ocean that waited for him to slip up and admit he didn't actually belong anywhere. When his sister dies suddenly, he is forced to follow his parents to Seoul and start again, on a new court with the same pain lodged in his knee.
Seongje wastes his life away between Sundays, pulled tight between the need to meet his expectations, and the will to live a life he will not wake up dreading every morning.

The threats that didn’t actually sound like threats. His laughs, the way he touched Hyun-tak.
They were to make Hyun-tak react. Too confused, too caught in between the fight and his will to protect his friends. He didn’t get it. Didn’t want to get it. But he let it happen without knowing why anyway.
