Crick’s eyes snap to him, pupils blown wide, some unknown primitive hunger burning deep within them. It is strange, something Temenos has never seen on Crick before. Crick has always been that meek little lamb, gullible and soft and oh-so-adorable—
He is snapped out of his own head when Crick’s gloved hand takes hold of the front of his cassock,
Yanks him out of the chair with enough force for him to momentarily float,
And seals Temenos’s lips with his own.
Or, where Temenos teases Crick one too many times. He gets what he deserves.
