Dean and Sam aren't the protegonist of Chuck story anymore, Jack has taken over, Cas was saved from the Empty.Dean and Cas had this on and off complex relationship for years, which never got to go behind sweet words and longing stares, until now at least.
Still, Dean never expected Sam to "take action" by telling Dean to get out of the closet... Whatever that means. -

While it makes it more difficult to manage the effects of the Rules, Hyrule is good to prevent the worse from happening.
