Is all Diluc can think of as a reply. He knew. Nothing new really but he can’t help the dread that’s been pooling in his stomach for the past few hours, coming at him full force right now. Nothing shows on the outside though because he knew what he was getting himself into when they first kissed in Morespok. With every day closer to goodbye the impossible tightness in his chest only grows, his stomach in knots as a result of his ever growing anxiety that worsens with each visit. It’s ridiculous, overreacting. So he swallows down the lump in his throat, blinks once then twice and looks up at Childe.
