Summary
A juvenile presents to the Pitt with an infected laceration. When Robby goes to examine, he finds that it's not only infected, the leg is dead from the knee-down. He breaks the news to his religious mother, who takes out a gun and gives Dr. Robinavitch an ultimatum: either he fixes the leg without amputation, or he dies.
At home, Jack struggles with guilt after an argument with Robby the prior night. He doesn't have time to make a proper apology with their shifts, but at the very least, he can bring Robby lunch as a peace offering.

It was all over the news: Lemurian Washed Up On Beach, No Longer Extinct?
Footage from newscasters and phones flooded the internet. The breaking news was printed out and sold on every street corner, drawing the attention of people on their daily commute. Some thought it was an elaborate hoax; an animatronic or something, covered in silicone skin and scales.
Sylus knows it's real. He recognized the creature from a year ago, from his strange night fishing escapade. He couldn't find a good angle of their face, but those scales are recognizable. He can still feel the force of that tail against his ribs some days, especially after a hard workout.
He also knows the disgusting leech that rammed the van and stole it. The opportunist that called for a once-in-a-lifetime auction across every black market.
Sylus has no intention of allowing anyone else to buy them.
