Lady Narcissia Malfoy would be livid if she was treated this way. Played with and taunted. Used. Such a proud woman would never find herself knees digging into the carpet.
Fury flared in her chest, her mind racing with insults and countercurses and how dare he! … and she couldn’t say anything. That was how she won. She just had to keep quiet. So Hermione only pinched her lips tighter, tucking her chin to shake her head decisively. He wouldn’t get a word out of her. She was the greatest witch of her age, dammit. And she would go down fighting.

Izuku's stomach turned over. He had told himself a thousand times that this was it. That the next time Kacchan started nesting, he'd shoot his shot. They were third years, and Kacchan was easily his best friend. He was also the love of his life. Every time Kacchan hit pre-heat, courting gifts would flood the dorms and Izuku would watch in terror as Kacchan inspected each one and then crumple in relief when he turned them down.
He couldn't wait on the sidelines anymore and wonder if Kacchan would accept him. He had to try, or else he'd miss his chance and regret it for the rest of his life.

Katsuki’s chest opens like a gap that threatens to swallow him inside molasses-like darkness. His knuckles feel ready to pop with the power of his fist-clenching, veins surfacing up his arms, under his stuffy black sweater. He can’t believe it’s come to this, to having to open his rigid mouth to utter a 'please' towards Pro Hero Deku and his wanna-be All Might self-
“Unless,” Deku continues, expression morphing into discreet consideration. “I get to train you. That’s my condition.”
Also dubbed as Bakugo Katsuki gets an unexpected mentor, a crush and a boyfriend, all in one year of U.A. hiatus.
