All they did was hook up at a party neither of them wanted to attend, and yet somehow they found themselves falling into a dangerous, comfortable routine. Sanemi made it clear he wasn’t looking for a relationship, and Giyuu was fine with that, or so he thought. If they agreed it wasn’t going to be anything more than a friends with benefits situation, why did their hearts tend to flutter at the thought of each other? Why did everything they found out about the other only blur the line between hooking up and intimacy?
It would only get harder the more they learned to trust each other, the stronger their bond became, and the longer they continued to dance around unspoken words. Only time would tell how much longer the two of them could deny their true feelings, or more so, how long it'd take Sanemi to admit it to himself.
