Summary
He looks at Max, who still is looking at him. He sees it in her as well. He sees the things he cannot really explain, and Max doesn’t seem like a person actively trying to help him with it either. Mike thinks that, maybe, if he stood up and faced the cliff, she would hold his hand and make the first step.
Sometimes, it scared him more than thinking of jumping himself.

Summary
Mike doesn’t remember the first time his nose started to bleed in the middle class. What he does remember is the most embarrassing time. He was around eight, sitting in science class listening to Mr. Clark's lesson, on what he doesn't remember. What he does remember is feeling the telltale feeling of his nose running, not the usual kind, but the hot and quick one. The one indicating blood.
Mikes cursed and doesn't realize it until it's too late, thankfully everything works out in the end.

Summary
September rolled around, and high school began. Max was the first to distance herself, avoiding them in the halls and during lunch. The fractured Party broke the day that Lucas joined the basketball team instead of Hellfire. Mike doesn’t know who to blame, but he still can’t help but feel like it’s his fault. He’s supposed to keep everyone together and safe. Not a role he’d ever been particularly good at. His track record—not that he’s keeping track—is 2-0.
OR
Mike and Max form a friendship where they both self-destruct. They are forced into confronting the ugly void that threatens to consume them, lest they really lose everyone.

Summary
Something is clearly up with Mike.
He's barely sleeping, he's complained of headaches every day this week, and has been downing painkillers like they're candy.
With spring break around the corner, he's probably just stressed about his upcoming flight to see Eleven out in California. At least, that's what the Party tells itself until they uncover the truth behind the mysterious murders assumed to be committed by Eddie Munson.
A file stashed in Ms. Kelley's drawer, Michael Wheeler marked on the very top, filled with things they were desperately hoping wouldn't be written.
It's now up to them to try to save Mike from the dark wizard from the Upside Down, and they're running out of time fast.
