Summary
Coughing and gasping for air, Leon put tremendous effort into not blacking out–both from the shit he’d sucked into his lungs and bouncing his head off the dirt when the shockwave from the blast toppled him. When he felt a pair of hands grasp him by his holster straps and pull him away from the crater the greenhouse had left behind, he pawed weakly for the knife strapped to his thigh, but then he heard a familiar voice–albeit distorted by a respirator mask:
“Hey, Leon–it’s okay. We’re here to help.”
Chris Redfield.
Golden boy of the BSAA, knight in shining armor, and Leon’s hopeless crush, which had been going on for so long now that it was old enough to get a driver’s license.
(Or the first hanahaki disease + Nivannedyfield fic. :D)

Leon knew, logically, that there was no way he could keep the serum from reaching every single part of his body, but at the same time the desperate part of his brain had to try. He thrashed, struggled, giving up on the cool façade that he’d held onto all this time from the moment he’d woken up from being sedated to the moment he’d been injected with what the assholes around him described as truth serum.
Truth fucking serum. Leon wanted to laugh. His life was a joke. When he’d broken up with Piers after their brief but intense fling he’d thought he’d reached the rock bottom, but apparently there had still been ways to go. At least until now he’d been able to lie and keep secrets to protect himself…

Mia didn't make it out of Miranda's lab, but Ethan and Rose survived the ordeal. They live with Chris Redfield. Ethan and Chris are finally in a formal relationship, and Ethan and Rose are still under the BSAA's protection.
There's just one problem: Ethan doesn't recall his time in Romania. He doesn't know the secret Mia died protecting.Ethan just wants to move on from his past, to finally find peace.
However....Ethan wasn't the only person to survive Miranda, and even though Ethan doesn't remember Karl, Karl remembers Ethan.
